Ok, so I would NEVER tell anyone to eat out. It's ridiculously expensive compared to buying food and cooking. Especially for extreme couponers. When we buy groceries for pennies, paying $14 for a dinner at a decent restaurant is out of the question.
But we have to splurge ocassionally or go crazy, and I do love to eat out. I love not having to cook! I love cooking, but I am so tired of it, especially when you have a 4 year old who only likes certain foods.
Well. Around the holidays we start seeing some great deals. each of these restaurants want you buy THEIR gift cards to give, not the other guy's. So many of them are doing a promotion where you get a "gift card for you" when you buy a gift card. Like, buy a $25 gift card and get a $5 gift card. But who says you have to buy gift cards to give to other people?
