GPS for truck drivers.

I have mentioned to quite a few people that those of us with husbands that are truck drivers that they might consider a GPS unit specifically made for truckers. This is the one we got for my husband and he loves it! (despite the poor reviews on amazon, which I don't understand, lol).

Good deal on computer item.

Check out this deal!  A random product, but something you can always use. :)

Holy Cow! Great deal on Planet Earth at Amazon!

I was surfing to find some good movie deals to put under the tree and was THRILLED to see this deal! I've really been wanting to get this on DVD for the kids.

Magazine deals at Amazon!

Shopping for the hard-to-buy-for. Might I recommend a magazine subscription?

National Geographic at $1.25 issue!!! I am considering this for my grandfather. He is SO hard to buy for!!

Shopping for a child who loves sports? Sports Illustrated Kids- super deal!

There are several great deals on 1-year auto renewal subscriptions. So if you are good at remembering to cancel subscriptions, you can get a great deal on several mags!! Even the 1-years without auto renewal are still a great price. :)

THIS is my favorite magazine of all time. I miss my subscription. Maybe I will ask for this for myself for Christmas. ;)

Amazon deals

So I've been helping my grandmother do her Christmas shopping this year, and most of it online...at Amazon. I've run across some hot deals (IMO!) that I wanted to share! Here they are...

I bought this for us for our new Blu-Ray (free, courtesy of Walgreens ;) ) which we do not have any movies for! LOL!! I never did get a good deal on Toy Story three and of course my daughter has been asking for it. Love 50% off!

Here's one I am definitely getting! Ths is a lightning deal, so get it while you can!
iIt is pathetic that My husband and I still don't have a will. And we have children, so we NEED one. This is a great deal!!

Considering this for the person who has everything on my list (I can't name names... they read my blog sometimes ;) )

This is a truly awesome deal for the handy man/woman in your life. It's a little beyond my budget, but if you need a good deal, there are quite a few great hardware deals at Amazon right now...like this:

Thermal Laminator nearly 80% off!!!

For any of you guys out there that are super crafty, or my fellow homeschooling Mamas, You might consider this deal!! This Laminator gets great reviews and for under $17?!?! That is an insane crazy deal.

I think I'm going to go order one right now!

Act fast! Lightning deal at Amazon on Earbuds!

While I have a million pair of cheap, free after rr/ecb/up/scr earbuds, My husband needs some GOOD earbuds while he is in his truck sleeping/watching movies/etc.

Check out this deal!!
$80 earbuds for $15! I am totally snagging this for his stocking.

iPhone case only $.33 plus $2.98 shipping at Amanzon!

Run now if you want this deal! Amazon is NOTORIOUS for changing and removing deals when the items start flying out the door.

Calphalon for nearly dirt cheap!

Yes, I'm a cookware snob. Working at Cooking Light magazine, then Linens-n-Things (in kitchenware) taught me way too much about cookware, and I LOVE Calphalon. Check out these great deals on the hard-anodized line at Amazon!

If you're in the market for some new pans, I can't say enough good things about Calphalon.

If you're not familiar with Amazon's deals, be warned, they fluctuate greatly. Once they see an item start flying out the door, it often goes up in price, so if you like this deal, jump on it and don't wait.

Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 2-1/2-Quart Shallow Saucepan with Lid is currently 75% off! This retails for $119.00 and is currently selling for $29.99!

There are several other pans on sale too:
Calphalon Commercial Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Everyday Pan with Lid 76% off at $39.99

and others, browse around! You might get some great deals.

An Amazon deal of note - Carbon Monoxide detector

I want to hilight this product in particular. Every Firefighter/Paramedic I have ever spoken with has told me that with young children in the house, Carbon Monoxide poisoning is a bigger danger than fire. This carbon monoxide detector/alarm is 60% off. While you're shopping for toys and fun stuff, spend a little extra on something that could save your life.

This guy is regularly $54.49 but on sale for $21.99.

Kidde KN-COPP-B Front Load Battery-Operated Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Digital Display

More Amazon deals!

The big deal in online shopping is that most companies guarantee receipt of an item by Chrstmas Eve when you order by Dec. 17th. This gives you another day and a half to place your orders. And companies are rushing to give you deals so you'll order from them and not elsewhere.
I've seen more Amazon deals this year than ever before. It's kind of crazy!
**Note that Amazon's deals fluctuate so wildly you might find new deals and then they're gone in minutes, so if you see something you want, I suggest ordering immediately. I waited on an item I wanted to get and three hours later the price was up 70%. :(
