Nashvillians- Kroger Mega/Triples possiblilities

ETA: HT is definitely tripling- so we'll hope for a Kroger match! I'll be headed down Wednesday morning just in case!!

Heads up to my fellow Nashvillians. There is a rumor that HT will be tripling this week, starting Wednesday. If this turns out to be true, then it will overlap with the Kroger mega sale. If Kroger matches (as they have been doing) and most of the same mega items are on sale- there's some great freebies that we don't often see! I went ahead and pulled to gether a list since there are some printables that may be gone today, so get printing after you get the kids in from Trick-or-Treating.
The great thing about the mega is that after the q triples, up to the value of the item (no overage), the mega comes off of THAT. So if your item is free after q, then the mega comes off, you make $.50 for the item. Then any eq's you have will be additional over.

Happy Halloween everyone! (and Happy Anniversary to me :) Hubby and I are celebrating our 7-year today!)

  3. Happy Anniversary!

I'm afraid my head would explode if I tried to figure out triple-mega-eq-argh! lol

But that would be totally cool, all that free, and mega overage.

  4. Mel- LOL! This one actually isn't too bad- the LAST one was really bad! It was all paper coupons AND ecoupons on betty crocker/GM items which were all included in the mega. It was really confusing.

thanks for the well wishes :)

  5. soooo trying not to get my hopes up about this, but gotta admit- i've already been planning too! looked at my kroger list as "ok what would be better to wait for next week on if we have triples!!" :o)

Noticed today that we have a new $.50 nestle morsels q (i think the one from 9/13 may expire today? not sure!)

AND there is a buy any 3 Birds eye veggies or sides, get a Steamfresh meal FREE! Whooohooo! Free veggies, plus free meal? Yay!

Also I think the Scotch Nail Saver sponges might be free with the Mega and recent $.75/2 q? Not positive though on the prices.

Ahhh, don't get excited yet, Stacey!! :o)

  6. ooh- great heads-up on the steamfresh! I haven't looked at the q's in today's paper yet. I have been defrosting my freezer today. It's slam-packed. I don't know what I am going to do (buy another freezer?). But right now, I can't buy ANYTHING that goes in the freezer or fridge. I mean, NOTHING. things are falling out every time I open the doors.
I looked at the sponges, but they weren't tagged at my store- not that that means anything, you know how it is.

I have heard pretty concretely that HT IS tripling starting Wednesday, but no word of course whether Kroger is matching. I guess I will just plan on being down there Wedsnesday morning and hoping for the best. :)

  7. Where is the Cocoa Puffs ip located? Your link goes back to the Sensodyne link! Tried searching on HCW and just googling it but didn't find anything!

Hubby needs new cereal! We STILL have Total cereal leftover from the Kroger GM/triples deal awhile back! I may have to give the rest away since he's quit eating it!

Thanks for this list! I've been printing away this morning! Just got new ink at the perfect time!

It does look like HT is definitely doing it this time! The past few times Kroger has made a decision around 11am or so! I've discovered calling beforehand doesn't do much good usually cause they'll say no then be doing it an hour later! Although in anticipation, I'll still probably call in the morning "just in case" they decide to do it earlier!

  8. Stacey cocoa puffs was at coupons.com, but it looks like it's gone- however there are Kix and (another?) cereal $.75/1 q that might be good. I don't know what the prices are for those. If you're looking for cereal deals, you can get free Kellogg's this week at Target. (I have about 40 boxes of cereal, so I am all cerealed out) lol

  9. ps if you hear that they're doing it and know before I do, post here for me! :)

  11. Happy Anniversary! My husband and I had our first date 21 years ago on Halloween. FYI there's a $3 Surf coupon in the Sunday USA weekend edition, so free detergent if used as part of the mega deal. Thanks for the Rolaids tip!

  12. Thanks! :) I did get some Surf this past weekend! Yay! It was in my other Mega list, I just didn't have it here since it's not a coupon that will triple. :) Now that I have moe Surf q's from this week, I'm adding into my list again. ;)

  13. I'm working on pulling all my q's and noticed that the "Buy 2 bird's eye veggies get a free steamfresh meal" (it's buy 2 not 3 like i said before!) was only in my newspaper that was delivered! This is the first time I've seen a difference like this! I bought 4 papers at Kroger- all of them had a $1.50/1 Steamfresh meal instead. They're all the same region but different q's! ugh!! Oh well, I will get one free Steamfresh meal!

Super excited about tomorrow and I'm just realizing how late it is and I gotta get to bed to be at HT early! :o)

  14. Stacey- yeah= that's what I am doing up so late too!! I was trying to pull my Publix stuff to do both tomorrow, but I am getting a little overwhelmed trying to do both at once. Plus I will probably have both kids with me tomorrow, so...I think I am going to hold off on Publix until Monday.
That's weird about the Steamfresh! I had them in the papers I bought at Dollar Tree here in Clarksville, but it's Buy three, get one! weird, weird, weird!!
