For those that need some help with Moneymakers...here is a list for you of ones I've seen/found/blogged about, etc. :) Many of these use competitor coupons so YMMV (that means "Your Mileage May Vary") on whether your store will accept them. It will depend on whether your store considers them a competitor or not. Included are Whole Foods, Rite Aid, etc...
If you found any other Moneymakers, please let me know!!
For those starting out- all these little $.50 here and $1.00 there really add up. Don't dismiss a $.50 moneymaker.

Found a link to a 2/1 printable for the bear naked. I would reccomend making the print as large as possible before printing so it won't be so small.

Do you know anything about this magazine?
That's a good link. Apparently that is a digital magazine released for Shoprite customers. However, it is a manufacturer coupon. And since the "magazine" is not a printed magazine, but a digital one, I would think, in my humble opinion, that any prints of that coupon are good. (Unlike illegal versions - printed copies of online versions of printed magazine...if that makes sense?)
ReplyDeleteSo...print away. And...THANKS for the great link! :)
Also, the Sundown Vitamin A are $3.29/ea ($.71 MM ea) & Folic Acid is $3.79/ea ($.21 MM ea). There are also several for $3.99 (makes them free) They're not as great as MM, but if there aren't enough of them to get an even # of product, these make good substitutes.
ReplyDeleteAlso, don't forget the Birds Eye frozen veggies in THIS week's ad. The plain veggies (not mixed varieties) are $1.79 at my store. When you use the $.50/1 it makes -$.11 ea.
where are the Bear naked granola bars at in Publix? in the organic section or where the other granola bars are in the cereal aisle? I looked today but couldn't find them.
ReplyDeletethanks!!!
One deal I always do is the Muir Glen small cans of tomato sauce are 89 cents at my publix and there was a $1 coupon in the Better at Home booklet and there are a few $1 printables out there.
ReplyDeleteGreat I was wondering about the ethics of this situation. THANKS
ReplyDeleteI have a question, what do you use for fillers since the manager has to override the register if your coupon ratio exceeds the product ratio? Sometimes it is to cumbersome to call over the manager.
ReplyDeleteGreat post, helps me alot, tinkyew!
ReplyDeleteJoshua- at my store these were with the single power bars, in the nutrition section, where the Boost, Ensure, etc are. HTH!
ReplyDeleteAnon- I don't worry about the coupon to item ration. My store is coupon savvy and actually told me once that the register doesn't understand the difference between store/competitor q's and mq's so it just sees "coupons"- they don't mind overriding- since they don't mind, and I can spend a lot of money getting little filler stuff, I don't worry about it. Also, since my totals always go negative to cover tax, they are going to have to override it anyway.
What is the insert for this :
ReplyDeleteFree Q for the Purina
jamy- see this post: http://ipreferpublix.blogspot.com/2009/09/2-moneymaker-on-cat-treats-at-publix.html
ReplyDeleteIt's from the 9/27 SS
:)
I love this site so much. Thanks Earthy Mama for all your hard work.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your site and especially for the moneymakers! Would you consider adding a feedburner feature to your site so I can get email updates? I'm going to Publix tomorrow and going to try to do a couple of your mm deals! Can't wait!!! Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteCandi- I'd be happy to...if someone would tell me how. LOL. I'm sort of illiterate to this whole blogging thing. (It's a learning process for me) :)
ReplyDeletegirl it's so easy, if i can do it you can do it. i'm learning as i go too. i just figured out how to make a "button" last week and i've been blogging for about a year now. go figure! anyway, you can set it up thru feedburner.com - it's really easy and it sort of links thru your google/blogger acct. if that makes any sense. it's totally free too! hope that helps!
ReplyDeletebtw: i was at publix doing some looking tonight and realized the maybelline is on sale 40% off so the liner would be $1.50 - ($3 q) = $1.50 MM....i'm so excited!!!!
oh yeah- button. I haven't figured that out either. LOL
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the eyeliner was included in the maybelline sale- that's awesome! I thought it was just the mascaras. Great deal!!
Thanks for all of the reports about moneymakers here; I appreciate the information! However, it seems that the moneymakers are never items that we actually use. That makes me sad. Hopefully, one day, I will find something that we can use!
ReplyDeletesmileypv....the great thing about MM is that even if you personally don't use the item, #1, you're making money on that item, and #2, somebody that you know can use or you can donate it to a womens/homeless shelter, operation christmas child (shoeboxes through your local church) or use them for stocking stuffers (some of them LOL!). Like with the sundown vitamins, i would not use half the ones i get but i make $$ on them, and then i just ask my friends/family if they need any of the vitamins. with the makeup, i use a certain brand, but i get the MM and donate them to the shoebox program at my grandma's church!! :) hope this gives you some ideas!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this! Very helpful!
ReplyDeleteHey where did you find the Bear Naked Granola Bars I cant find them any where
ReplyDeleteBear Naked Granola Bars are with the single power bars- in the nutrition area (around BOost, Ensure, etc)
ReplyDeleteBad news: My store (Concord Rd) has just adopted a new policy that you can only use 1 Publix Q per person per day (ie: Sundown)! According to the cashier that helped me today, they are "enforcing the wording already printed on the coupon". Has anyone else had this problem?
ReplyDeleteAlso, they don't carry the Bear Naked products at my store. None at all. :(
Jennifer- I'm sorry. I have heard through the grapevine that several stores are doing this in the Nashville area- Spring Hill, Nippers Corners and now Concord. I am hoping they change the wording back so that the phrase "limit one deal per customer" or anything like it - is NOT on there. It's very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteyou're right it was the mascara only not the eyeliner :(
ReplyDeleteBTW: Here's a link for $3/2 Sundown Vitamins. I didn't see it posted yet...http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qjumbcq6416221&bt=wg&o=53721&c=NB&p=FRuftacM
