This is the weekend to find LOTS of papers

That's right folks, the Bayer Meter coupon is back!

For those just starting this coupon thing- you may not know but this is a great coupon. It allows for "Up to $30 off" any Bayer Contour or Breeze 2 monitor (for diabetics).

These guys periodically have good money-making deals at Wags and CVS. The best one was at Wags. The monitors were $9.99 and you got $10rr for each one you bought! (free after rr). Well, buy one monitor, use your coupon and get it free, (only pay tax) and out pops a $10rr!!

The $10rr was more rare, but they seem to have $5 rr/ecb deals about once every 6 weeks or so.

I will be buying a lot of papers this weekend. And hitting the recycle bin. Several of them. (Lindsey, it might be time for me to come take a peek in the one you visit! :) )

What to do with the monitors? Donate them. I donated 52 monitors to the midwifery group I went to to deliver my children. They have a clinic in a low-income area where many of the moms are uninsured and they were thrilled to get these for the Moms who are diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes, and I was thrilled that I could give them to a group that I felt good about. (Love my midwifery group)

  1. So what do you consider "lots" of papers? I had been buying 10 per week, but lately have dropped back to 5. Just curious as to how many you buy when it's a good week.

  2. I buy between 6-10 papers per week depending on the coupons in them. This week, I'll be buying a minimum of 20, and hopefully I can find some at the recycle center. I am also really hoping the local paper has comparable inserts to the big paper because it's CHEAPER!!!

I use my overage rr's to buy papers at Walgreens.

  3. Oh, this is what you meant about the Bayer meter coupon.

I didn't remember about the Wags RR deals on these. I think I used to just spend my coupons as fast I could before they could expire on me.

I've stopped doing that, and now wait for deals.

  4. So do they price adjust the coupons or will they automatically take them and only scan away the correct price? Is there a limit on ECBs at CVS? I have an awful time at Wal, but could really use this deal to help supplement paper products/diapers.
