My deals today, Rite Aid

I made several runs today, two trips to my Walgreens and one each to the two Rite Aids near me.

Rite Aid
I was very, VERY disappointed that our Short ad was missing most of the great deals for the week. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo Short ad!
Anyway, I did get a bunch of great deals, but it was a lot of the same items, and not a variety of deals like I had planned.
I tossed in a few gift cards into my transactions and paid using some of the $10 up+ rewards I had earned. I wasn't sure if it would let me and wanted to try it out. Worked perfectly, no problems. I don't know if you'd be able to just buy gift cards and pay with Up+, but it certainly worked in a larger transaction.

I gotta say, Rite Aid is fast becoming my favorite drugstore, followed by Walgreens with CVS running a far distant third.

  1. Today I've been seeing Stayfree and Carefree with $.50 peelies on them. I acutally found one of the old $1.00 off Carefree once today. You can use one peelie MQ with the BOGO MQ for a little more overage. Saved me an extra $1.50 today. That pretty much pays for most of my transactions.

  2. Were you able to purchase the gift cards using your UP+ rewards?

  3. I'd love to see you do an explaination of the new Rite Aid deals. I used to shop there awhile back but then ours shut down and then when I moved near another one, the deals either required too much oop to start with and then the long wait for SRC or just confused the heck outta me!

I'm signed up for the new program but haven't figured out how to work it!! I see your great deals, but don't have a clue where to start!

It's the one store I definitely DON'T have the hang of!!

  4. Stacey, I'll try to do this sometime this weekend, but meanwhile, go to rite aid's website and sign up for the video values program and start watching videos. :) You'll need those w's for some of the deals. Even if you don't think you'll need it, watch it anyway, b/c they're good for two months, but you can only watch/print them for one month...and the good deal is usually the month after it comes out. lol.
