Kroger deals, week of 11.28, FREE BATTERIES!

Some great deals at Kroger this week!

Firstly, there's a four day sale and Duracell batteries are included! These are on sale for 2/$3, and the catalina deal is still good- so buy your 5 at $1.50/each, use the $1.50/1 q's from 11.14 RP, get all five for free and get a $3 catalina back!
This deal ends Wednesday, so be sure to get there soon.

Here are a few:

Bumblebee Tuna Pouch $.49 (after mega)
-$.55/1 blinkie or insert q
-$1/2 insert q
=Free or $.06 mm

Krusteaz Cookies $.99 (after mega)
-$1/1 mq 10.10.10 RP
=Free

Pillsbury biscuit $.59 deal is still good (see last Kroger post)

Then, a wonderful friend told me about this deal:
Orville Redenbacher $1.49 (after mega)
-$.40/1 mq 11.14 SS
=$.69/ea after doubled q

When you buy 3 OR popcorns, you will get a catalina for 2 free Redbox codes.

In addition, look for the boxes with the Redbox codes inside them. There are 2 in each marked box. In addition, there are other coupons, and the same friend said one of these coupon is a $1.50/1 soda mq.

In the 11.14 paper, there was a Kroger insert in my area with a $.50/1 Store coupon for Kroger 12 pack soda. These are on sale for $1.99 this week. Use the mq and storeq for free soda.

So, buy three popcorns and get 8 free movie rentals and a 12 pack of soda.
This would be a great basket for a Christmas gift! "Movie lovers basket"

  1. OK, I just went to Kroger for the battery deal. I got my 5 packs, but they scanned for $1.98 each. So, she manually took off $1.98 five times. Then she charged me $1.50 for 4 packs, and gave me one pack free, per the scan right guarantee. Then I gave her my coupons (I only had 3). So $4.50 came off, and I paid for one pack plus tax (total was $2.97). But I did not get my cat!!! The machine was not working (my fault for not looking for the little green light), but the cashier told me that I would not have gotten it anyway, because they only really charged me for 4! Aargh! lol! Really, I can't complain for getting 5 packs of Duracells for less than $3. Should I try filing with the catalina company and have them mail it to me?

  2. ugh!! I hate when that happens. I would try emailing catalina, or calling them. The worst they can do is deny it. I have called several times in the past and they mail those cats out pretty quickly :)

  3. oh, I just reread your comment. ugh! she should have re-rang all of them correcty, then reimbursed you the $1.50 for the other not ringing up right! that sucks. I guess I would still tell catalina. If that doesn't pan out, you could always ask the store if they can do a re-ring/re-buy, price modifying the batteries to $1.50 to account for the other pack...or you could just chalk it up to a deal that didn't work out.
I screwed this deal up when it first started, when they were still $1.98. I bought four, instead of five. Thinking four would get me to the threshold I needed to be at.

:( I was irritated, but didn't worry over it. You can't win them all, but I do win most of them! :D
