Thanks for posting. I haven't explored the Kushy foot line yet (wink). Interesting. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, fyi: those Kushy foot things, the $1 ones weren't hanging with the others, they were in one of the dump bins with a $1.00 sign on them with other cheap socks. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know. I went to Rite-Aid tonight looking for something around $1. Couldn't find anything. Still picked up a few since I had some overage. I'm looking forward to trying them. I need to work hard to reach the 20% off level next year. Think I will hit it in 3-5 months if I keep couponing there. Do you remember how long it took for you to get the 20% off?
ReplyDeletePS - I just found 16 more Kashi peelies that I peeled at 4 different stores about 3 months ago. I love Kashi (probably about as much as you love finding Morningstar on sale with really, really good coupons). :)
ReplyDeleteI have those $3 kashi peelies too! No fresh fruit at my store either. :( Plus I have a ton of Kashi from Publix sales ;) It is soooo yummy!
ReplyDeleteWell, I got lucky with the discount since I have been shopping at RA for about three years now- when they started the Wellness program, they went ahead and sent me a wellness card "for being such a good SCR customer" and it was already was at the 10% level- so I didn't have quite as far to go. :) It didn't take long though! A couple of months maybe. The way the deals have been lately, maybe less! lol.
btw, I loved the pic on your blog of your babies! They're growing up!!!
oh hey, do you shop at Safeway? I have heard they put out really good coupon books! :)
ReplyDeleteI only shop there every now and then. I am mostly shopping at Costco for my meat/vegetables and then shopping at a store called WinnCo. for my can staples. Safeway/Raley's are super expensive and don't double but they have a good deal every now and then.
ReplyDeleteBTW, have you heard that Publix has new software for their registers that matches the coupon to the item and price adjusts the coupon? My friend Kathy (the girl that won by posting a recipe on your site) went to Smyrna this week and her coupons were price adjusted automatically. My friend's husband works at Publix now and I have sent her an email to ask him to verify if this software is rolling out to all of the stores.
Let me know if you have experienced this? Thanks.
No, I haven't heard anything about that, or experienced it! I'll have to ask Eric next time I shop if he knows anything about it. I wonder which q's were adjusted automaically, just the mq's or what. I'm curious.
ReplyDeletehmmmm
Eric and Cory (the ASM at MF) have both told me Smyrna has the highest coupon redemption of any Publix in this region, wonder if that has something to do with it?
ReplyDeleteKathy just confirmed that the manufacturer Q's are being adjusted down to the price of the item. She was able to get overage ONLY when she used a Publix Q (the Publix Q's were not adjusted down). I would imagine that a software upgrade would be rolled out to every store in the region; they are usually not store-specific. Let me know what Eric says. Gracias.
ReplyDeletehmmm- that is so weird! I wonder if they are testing it there. I think it's awesome they are finally matching the product to the item, bc that is where most of the coupon fraud comes from- people giving high value coupons for like, vitamins, for something else on their order. So that is great . . . but the adjusting? not cool, since the store is getting full value reimbursement. hmph.
ReplyDeleteDid she find that when they doubled, only doubled up to the price of the item, like at Kroger?
