I guess I would still tell catalina. If that doesn't pan out, you could always ask the store if they can do a re-ring/re-buy, price modifying the batteries to $1.50 to account for the other pack...or you could just chalk it up to a deal that didn't work out.
I screwed this deal up when it first started, when they were still $1.98. I bought four, instead of five. Thinking four would get me to the threshold I needed to be at.

:( I was irritated, but didn't worry over it. You can't win them all, but I do win most of them! :DEarthy Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04235627001435406029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4819680504351677468.post-72822337637802302462010-12-01T20:48:13.686-06:002010-12-01T20:48:13.686-06:00ugh!! I have called several times in the past and they mail those cats out pretty quickly :)Earthy Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04235627001435406029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4819680504351677468.post-21828575388927273962010-11-30T21:01:48.551-06:002010-11-30T21:01:48.551-06:00OK, I just went to Kroger for the battery deal. I...OK, I just went to Kroger for the battery deal. I got my 5 packs, but they scanned for $1.98 each. So, she manually took off $1.98 five times. Then she charged me $1.50 for 4 packs, and gave me one pack free, per the scan right guarantee. Then I gave her my coupons (I only had 3). So $4.50 came off, and I paid for one pack plus tax (total was $2.97). But I did not get my cat!!! The machine was not working (my fault for not looking for the little green light), but the cashier told me that I would not have gotten it anyway, because they only really charged me for 4! Aargh! lol! Really, I can't complain for getting 5 packs of Duracells for less than $3. Should I try filing with the catalina company and have them mail it to me?MelRaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04884304943591243036noreply@blogger.com
