Alright, I'll admit it, we don't actually EAT Lunchables in my house. So I had $1/1 coupons for a free product I wouldn't feed to my kids. But I can't resist free!! So I concoted this:
Taco salad
1 Nacho Lunchables (stockpile item from this week)
2 cups Fresh Express Lettuce (stockpile item from this week)
1/2 chopped Avocado (stockpile item from this week)
1/4 cup Black Beans
1/4 cup shredded Cheese (stockpile item)
Put 2 cups lettuce mix on plate, top with black beans, chopped avocado, shredded cheese and drizzle on salsa from lunchable, cheese from lunchable (might need to be warmed up a little) and top with teensy cute little chips from Lunchable.
You can always top with dressing of your choice as well.
Yeah, you could make this with regular chips, Pace salsa and omit the nacho cheese, but why pay for those things when the Lunchables are FREEEEEEEEEE :)

Too many biscuits?
If you're like me and have an overload of canned biscuits in your fridge (um, yeah, I have 24 cans so far!), here's a recipe that I know you have the ingredients for. And it's YUMMMMMMMY!!!
Monkey Bread
2 Cans refrigerated biscuits
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 stick Butter
**If you like nuts, add those to the cinnamon/sugar mix
Cut/tear biscuits into fourths, set aside.
Mix cinnamon and sugar and toss biscuit pieces in sugar mix (do a few at a time).
Spray bundt pan with cooking spray.
Drop biscuits into bundt pan.
Melt butter and mix in brown sugar until dissolved. Pour over biscuits. Bake at temp recommended for biscuits for time recommended, or until top is golden brown.
Oh man...sooooo good!!

Super duper yummy CHEAP gift idea

Christy over at Southern Plate posted this great recipe for what she calls Holly Jollies. Seriously, yum. AND easy, AND my four year old can help without me worrying about her burning herself.
I can't wait!
I already make butterscotch "haystacks" with chow mein noodles and butterscotch morsels, but this is brilliant. I love the white almond bark with dried cranberries.
I think I'll also go a little wild and make some with coconut and cashews. mmmmm. Although then they may not make it into gift baskets. *cough*
I also am thrilled to find a use for all those free boxes of Rice Krispies I have! woohoo!!
Someone also had the idea of using all those plastic tumblers we've been buying as fillers at Walgreens as the container to put them in! Awesome!
Enjoy!!
Go HERE for recipe.
(Thanks Christy!)
