  1. Oh, how exciting. There are 160 acres for sale which is a mile from by house and I keep telling my husband that would be a perfect location for a Publix.

  2. I know that is going to make shopping so much easier for you, but I'm sad that I won't be seeing you anymore.

  4. I am so happy for you...I guess I'm spoiled here because I have 4 Publix within a 4 mile radius of my house...the more, the merrier the couponers are !

  5. Sophie- I currently drive 90 miles roundtrip to shop at Publix, so, yeah, I'm thrilled. :) Of course, it's going to be NEXT winter before it's open, so there will still be some waiting.

Deena- no worries, I'll still be shopping at MF. Eric has threatened me with telling the new store I am a shoplifter if I stop shopping at MF completely. lol.

  6. I hate to say that is great, but you know how much I live vicariously through your coupon successes. I wondered how Eric would take the news, so I am thrilled he feels the same way I do.

Coupon question: When did the finish $2.50/1 coupon come out? I keep seeing bloggers stating they are stocking up on this weeks deal with this coupon and I haven't seen it.

Also Frugal Dr. Mom had several really good deals on her site that she purchased at Publix based on the HGHills circular; and that a $5/$50 coupon can be found in the Franklin Review that is delivered with the Tennessean in the Franklin area. I really need to find out how I can get the Franklin Review. I'm sure you know someone who may have a little info on this.

  7. The $2.50/1 Finish coupon was in the 7.4.10 SS- it was an either/or coupon- there are two coupons on the page that use the same barcode, so you can clip the higher value coupon for a larger box, or the smaller value coupon for the smaller box. I have a raincheck from CVS back when they were free after ecbs so I will be using them at CVS with my rc. ;) Love those rainchecks!

HGHills does have some good q's, I have never been able to find the Review Appeal, but if there's a recycle center in Franklin, like the Hillsboro HS one, I bet you'd find some in there.

  8. My sister in law and mom live in Franklin so they get it. My SIL does use hers all the time at the Franklin Publix (only one I know of that will take the HG hill ad qs) They do a few penny item qs too that THAT Publix will also honor. I've gotten a hold of my mom's on occasion but never made it into THAT Publix to use it at the same time I have the ad.
I'm wishing I had more of the Finish $2.50 q's for that deal. I was out of town that week so only got two inserts and one is from AZ where we were at and alot of the q's are different. Did have the Finish though.

  11. Now, here's hoping they have a good coupon policy! Congrats.

Alas, I am in the land of "no Publix anywhere in sight." I haven't couponed for two solid months. I did get out and get some free Dr. Scholls at Walgreens yesterday (wink).

  12. BTW, Eric called me and told me that you were a shoplifter.

  13. Deena, you can pick up a copy of the Franklin Review Appeal at the HG Hill store at 1022 Columbia Avenue in Franklin, TN (down the street from the Starbucks on Main St). You can get a copy there for free. You can also ask any of your friends in Franklin to hold there copy for you as it comes to Franklin homes once a week. Just remember, that the $5/50 Q is not published every week (there is one week a month that they do not publish the coupons in the Franklin Review Appeal).

  14. Colleen - Moore's Lane also takes the HG Hill Q's (at least they did the last time I shopped there; a few months ago).

  15. Hi Kelly!! :D Miss seeing you 'round the boards. I was wondering if you were going to get more into the drugstore shopping since there's no Publix near you ;)
