Keeping up with mail-in-rebates?

Allright, so I might be the coupon queen, but I am the WORST when it comes to keeping up with mail in rebates. I buy the items with the intention of sending them in, then I either misplace the receipts, forget to cut out the upc codes, or some combination of the above.

So, does anyone have any good tips for keeping these together? I have tried several different methods and they are really not working. I am going to lose out on two Olay rebates of $20 each and two Swiffer rebates of $10 each because I can't find receipts/ forms/ upc codes. UGH! That's $60!!!

I can't wait to see what you guys have!

Great deals on Eco-friendly items~including diapers!

Are you swagging yet? If you haven't yet joined Swagbucks, now might be the time. There are some high-value sbucks to be found and a new gift card available!

I was thrilled to see this:
$5 gc to Theecoluxelife.com store for only 115 swagbucks! (a $5 gift card to Amazon is $420 bucks, for comparison)
This store seems to have everything organic that you can imagine. I have been wanting some new cloth wipes and a stainless steel bottle/cup for my son, so I am currently browsing the offers they have.

They have tons of items, including Seventh Generation diapers for $18.99. So with 460 swagbucks, you could get a free pack of diapers! It doesn't take long at all to build them up either.
Discovered there is a minimum $20 purchase and only one gc per transaction! Still a nice deal, but not as good as free with this site. :( Sorry guys!!!

If you're a cloth diaperer at heart, like I am, they also have ecobaby fitteds for only $15.99! That is an incredible deal! Especially if you're trying to build a stash with limited funds. Use your swagbucks to reduce the cost of something you're already buying!

You just can't beat free, and Swagbucks is FREE money. :)

Rite Aid's crazy deals get crazier

If you're not a regular Rite Aid shopper then you'll be even more confused, since I certainly am.

Rite Aid has a new program called Up+, that is working like CVS ecb's and Walgreens' rr's. This is a coupon that prints out at the bottom of your receipt when you buy participating "deals/products". It can be used toward anything in the store, including on the same deal. It is tied to your wellness card in that you must scan your card to get the deal, but as of now there are no limits, unlike CVS. But it is apparently keeping track of your purchases, since it seems you don't have to purchase all items in one transaction to get the deal.

For example: (This deal might only be good in the "test" cities.)
Huggies diapers are $11.99 regular priced. There is a deal going on through 6/13 where if you buy three packs of diapers, you will get a $11.99 up+ reward coupon. You don't have to get all three of these at once. So you can purchase them in separate transactions and after the third one is bought, it will print the reward.

As far as I am concerned, this is the best of both worlds of ecb's and rr's. no limits, and you can roll them into themselves.

Awesome!

But Rite Aid is going crazy with the deals and programs. So confusion may set in. Just get all your ducks in a row before you go shopping and you should be fine!

High Value Pampers coupon

As many of you have noticed, there is a super high value Pampers wipes coupon in the paper today. It is for $2 off any 60+ct pack of Pampers wipes. This is one of those coupons you can use now to get free wipes, or you can hang onto a few in hopes of a mm somewhere.

Currently Free at:
Walmart: $1.97 on rollback

Super cheap:
Target: $2.39 on sale
Rite Aid: $2.49, used with other items and a $5/20= free
Walgreens: $2.50

I would suspect there will be more deals on these somewhere before they expire.

Word is out that some of the big packs of Pampers wipes are included in the clearance baby items at CVS as well, so you may be able to score a free big pack of wipe refills there- just price check.

Vacation fun

In the meantime, here's a few pics of my family from vacation :)

Thanks for reading and keeping up with the deals!

And finally, a picture of our yummy pirate pancakes from our stay at the Pirate Haus Inn in St Augustine, Fla.

Back from vacation

Whew! Sorry for the absence. :) We went on vacation last week, took the kids to the beach in St Augustine, Fl and to Disney World. We had a blast, and I'm working on a post on saving money for vacations, but I wanted you all to know that I am still alive. lol.

Want a free Juno baby DVD?

I was lucky enough to be one of the first 250 people enrolled in "Heard it from a Mom" to get the free Juno Baby DVD. I can now pass it forward (supplies are limited though). If anyone would like me to pass it forward to you, you will receive a free DVD while supplies last.

Email me your name and email address and I will submit it for a free DVD.

Yay!

My nearly-5 year old and my 19 month old both love this video- my son loves the music and my daughter struck up a conversation all about what not to be afraid of, and how you should try new things (what the video is about :) ). Not to mention, even my husband was walking around singing about getting a haircut. lol. It's pretty catchy. ;)
